Maria Lindberg

I was an art teacher at a private school in Cambridge, MA for 28 years where in 2005 I created and implemented a specialized program for teaching art to preschool children. I am now currently retired and devote my time to painting and writing.

I believe that art is an instrument for peace.  Every culture, past and present produces art in a myriad of forms.  Commonality of the visual language of art can be a powerful force in producing a global understanding of others. Art in its various forms provides a means of accepting, appreciating, and respecting our fellow human beings: an affirmation of “future.”
